New '62 Fender American Vintage P Bass for $1150! There is a '62 American Vintage Fender P Bass is a music store about 5 hours away from me. The bass arrived there new in September and is priced to sell at $1150. I know they don't make this model anymore. I already have an American deluxe p bass. So I am not really in need of a P bass. However, It would be nice to have a P with flats and P with rounds. Is $1150 to good of a deal to pass up? |
Good price. Go for it! |
yes. that is a good price. |
Get it |
5 hours? So about 600 miles roundtrip. Assuming 25mpg, thats pushing 100 bucks in gas and a day in the car. So add 300 to that price. :) I'd have it shipped and if I didn't like it and had to ship back, I'd still have a few bucks and the time that I wouldn't have had otherwise. And then there is the very real (and likely) possibility that you will love that bass when you get it. |
Thats a TERRIBLE price!!!!!!!!!!!! Where is this craphole store??????? No really... where is it? Do you have the phone number? :hiding::hiding: Do they take credit cards over the phone? :hiding::hiding::hiding: :hiding::hiding::hiding::hiding: |

cost me about $1500 to import mine to australia so don't let that price get away. Why aren't you in the car already? Tell them how far you had to travel and they might drop a couple hundred more off ;) |
Sam Ash is selling these for Our Price: $1,159.99. That means that Musicians Friend and Music123 will match/beat that price. And they'll ship it to you at no cost. NO WAY would I drive 5 hours to pick up a bass by hand. Have it shipped to you. |
These were $1099 on Amazon for Christmas. Of course they are worth more, just saying that we had a couple months were good deals on them were not uncommon. Hopefully none with one-piece maple neck come along... |
