I held back cash and held off on ordering a Lakland USA specifically to see what happens in 2013. Unless they bust big with the New American Vintage series (old AVRI), looks like my choice will be simple.
Morons.........
People keep mentioning the same colors over and over again. Sonic Blue, Daphne Blue, Surf Green, Seafoam Green, Sherwood Green, Shoreline Gold, Shell Pink, etc. Oh, and painted headstocks.
Are the number of Custom Shop units being sold so significant that they are worried about offending that segment of the market by offering CS colors to we lowly serfs?
I will happily eat my words if the new NAV line turns out to be a killer. But for now ? Pick a finger, Fender. Any finger.

The RW series is top drawer and the Nate Mendel at least looks promising and not as cookie-cutter as the American Standards. Again IMO. |

Made me GAS for one a little, but I already have a P with quarter pounders in it.

I did see several people expressing interest but, not from anyone who owned one. :^( hopefully an NM owner will chime in with a review at some point if someone hasn't already.

Just give us a seafoam green option and call it a day, Fender. | If they came out with a surf green P with a maple board I'd buy it in a minute. |
