Last year for four bolt neck and heel adjust. |

It was only $625 new with a coupon back in 09'.
Though, I do miss a rosewood neck on a P'....but not for
$2G. |

Also, it's cool that they chose to ship this with covers installed. Nice way to distinguish from older series and newer AmStds
Question though - I have older AVRI 57 PBass and Fullerton AVRI Jazz. Have original covers for both but have only ever installed the bridge cover for the PBass. However, every time I do, have a hard time palm muting with the cover installed. It's something I do a lot on my 57PBass. Have TI flats installed and that combo and palm muting is the bomb. Maybe I just need to adjust my technique but find it works best with my palm right against the bridge. Anyone else find a way around this? |

I think they're trying to price things on the higher end and then come back and use rebates periodically to stimulate seasonal or slow sales.

Fender, price this down around $1500 bucks. 2 G's is crazy. I'll buy an American Standard any day at half the price and get all the same bass. |
