Someone talk me into getting a new bass. I already have 2 jazzes and a P. One p with rounds, one with flats?

Will definitely get better pics up this weekend (if I don't lose power). Thanks for all of the comments guys!

Nitpick: I removed the covers and there is a slight indentation of the outline of the bridge cover into the finish. It's not a showstopper for me, but I'm sure it will irk some. It would have been nice if Fender had not mounted them since most will be removing them anyway.

| | | | I was just thinking that a nice addition to this series might be a 66' jazz in some interesting colors like faded sherwood green or shoreline gold, lollipops and all. |

Gigged it last night-7 piece soul/funk band. Love the tiny frets. TI flats on, sounded great. Cool "middy", punchy old-sch. vibe.
Was using a provided backline (Fender BXR300 1x15) that had seen much better days (& many of em) so will do a better review after tonite when I can use my own Traynor YBA300 > Bergantino NV412 rig
Will

I guess the finish is still a little soft when they are mounted, or nitro is always a little soft no matter how long you wait.

Well, also the radius on the neck and the size of the frets. Embrace the 60's! When I started playing in 1968 these were all standard. I love my 66 p and 62 avri j and just wanted to get a P as close as I could to my alpha bass. I am glad you enjoy your vintage, it is really lovely, but I am happy they mounted my covers. |
