But that is JMHO. There is bound to be some crossover regardless.
D Bopp, nice video! Most excellent groove. Gives me something to shoot for...in about a million years! . To the woodshed for me now!!

If I stare it with great intensity, will that bring it to room temp more quickly?
Looks like # 82.

Hey, with all this zealous conversation, I just noticed that your ashtray and P/U covers are rounded vs squared version shown on prototypes.
Did these come stock or did you switch them out? Again, if this was discussed, my sincerest apologies as I clearly missed it.

I have since removed them, along with the tug bar. The color in this pic is somewhat off-it's much more blue in person. This bass is amazing! I have some nice boutique basses, and this one easily hangs with them. Not even one deadspot!

I'll pull the PU cover myself. The tug bar can likely stay as it shouldnt get in the way. I never get slap happy and if I did, it wouldn't be on a P.
I just need this thing to wow me with tone like my 62 AVRI P and I'll be set. I can fire it up at rehearsal tomorrow night !

If you're going to shout about being authentic whilst upping the price the least you can do is stick with it! I'm a little pissed if this is true. Maybe they were always like this in the first place and someone got wires crossed or something? |

Maybe they were always like this in the first place and someone got wires crossed or something? | Well, from an aesthetic point of view, I agree with you wholeheartedly. For myself personally, I already had a rounded ashtray to be installed as the ergonomics are better for resting my hand on it during those songs that require a pick.
While it wasn't insanely cold, I still wont crack the case until later this evening to see which ones I have. Based on Kobass' P though, I have to suspect that mine will likely have the rounded guards.
I am not as irritated about the price as I got mine for 1648.00 shipped. Yes, a far cry for the Black Friday sale on the 62 AVRI of under 1000.00 but way better than 1999.00, and a far more pleasing color to me than 3 TS.
I paid for it. I am over it. Just hoping she sings and doesnt weigh 13 pounds.

It was one of the selling points for me.

If it grates on you, you can always send it back.
