It will go nice with my Warmoth P-J Antigua | Yeah, if they had come from the factory with bound & blocked rosewood boards I would have been all over it.
The Warmoth PJ looks great. Maybe I'll go that route. |

Even though I've always though of myself as a Jazz Bass player, between this and my other P bass (the white classic 70's P Bass with emgs) - they are my two favorites feeling and sounding. They also happen to be the most inexpensive of my basses .
BTW, came set up just like I like it out of the box....
I absolutely LOVE the urethane finish. I wish all my basses had it

Now they are available again at a decent price and forgive us if we are a little excited about it.

Oh BTW - That Coronado is stunningly beautiful!!

| | | | Thx for all the compliments guys. The original Antigua finish is nothing but creamy, wholesome sexyness. The new ones are not bad either.

The Jazz is....meh, but....the P.....outstanding. Seriously, the quality of the MIM basses are equaling and surpassing the MIA all over the place. I will say the tone knob has a lot of treble. Where I normally like to be at 50%, on this bass is probably more like 30%, but when you get there, holy crap, that's what a Fender Bass is supposed to sound like. Stock strings and all, this Antigua P is a winner and shall be mine ASAP, if not tomorrow : ) | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
