I have a 2012 Select Jazz bass, I see no need in go buy a new 2013 just have active setup? Is it me or are the edges on the 2013 look more rounded then the 2012?

It'll just be the deluxe pre no doubt. I prefer the passive option.

Interesting that they moved the active/passive switch.
I like where it was on the top side of the plate.
