New Hadean EB-9705 from Rondo! Wow..

Well, I finally got this baby in and I have to say that they have really outdone themselves on this one.. Really...$179!!!

Yes, it can use new tuners and a fret job and possibly even upgraded pickups and preamp, but honestly for $179 and a neck through bass, it is unreal. It did need some relief on the truss rod and the intonation set, but that is normal.

It is only a 2 band preamp, but it has a good sound to it. The bass itself will probably need to be wax finished since it is all raw wood. But this thing sustains for days! This is easily they best thing I have seen out of rondo on the bass side! Now on to the show:

And that is all she wrote folks... Check these out, they are worth it!

Great pics! How is the string spacing? I prefer something like a Jazz bass, i.e. wide spacing at the bridge but narrow spacing towards the nut.

For the price and what it is........Rondo has a winner here. A very handsome bass as well. It could be confused for basses costing way, way more. Enjoy!

So, it sounds good? I'm asking because they also have a red passive Hadean fiver which I'm assuming has the same kind of pickups, and I've been tempted to buy one.
