| | Bass player for Christ! | | | | | Yep, right now as I type this, I have a candy apple red Bongo 4 Hp with an abalone pickguard in route to me from Bass Central with the new tuners. It should be here sometime between Friday to Monday at the latest. It has the new light weight tuners on it so I am anxious to see how they will effect the overall feel of the bass. From what I have heard, it makes the bass feel a lot lighter.

Fender shaved a noticeable amount of weight off their newer tuners without sacrificing the full-sized cloverleaf; I don't see why MM can't do the same. Those new tuners have 'vintage Soviet bass' written all over them.
