Just brought home a long sought after bass....affordable, cool and unique tone with great visual recognition....you guessed it, a Danelectro Longhorn.
This one is an early Korean re-issue.
It came with GHS precision Flats and that's my first experience with GHS strings and I'm pleased.
The tone as often I've heard it said is more "mid-oriented" though the E string sounds really good, not quite Jazz bass good but not bad at all.

Playable as hell and the short scale is a real treat to play....no hard reaches with a 30.5" scale.
