Current setup:
88 Charvel 3B
Dean Razorback with dc40's (garbage)
Ampeg SVT 450H
Musicman Audiophile 2x10 ported cabs
What I would like:
Spector Euro 4lx35TW
Ampeg SVT 2 PRO
Amped SVT 4 PRO
Ampeg 8x10s
I can only afford one.
Any suggestions on what to get first? I need a fast decision, as I'm going on tour soon
Thanks

Thanks | If you're goin' on tour soon, maybe no roadie to help you out, yet I really think an 8X10 is a cab you'll need, especially not knowing quality of PA in small clubs or teenage venues allover California.
Cheers,
Wallace

| | Psst. It's "Squier" | | Join Date: Jan 2012 Location: Philly suburbs | | | I'll second the 8x10. I used to have an svt350H and it was plenty through my 8x10 playing with two loud guitarists in a punk band. Then you can choose to upgrade the head or et a nicer bass next. |

| | | | If you dont need new cab or amp, then Id dump the dean bass, salvage the emg pups and pre from it. And perhaps install those in a new bass.

Learn to setup your basses and work on your gear and fix it yourself. I mod and repair my own gear all the time. I have even made some extra spending money setting up friends guitars and basses or retolexing cabs!
