well the action changes with the weather, which is typical of similar Fender-style necks, even the ones with graphite. I use very low action, and the small changes are very noticeable to me and drive me nuts. My Warmoths don't do that, probably because the truss rod is stiffer, and the neck is thicker. Don't get me wrong, if you use a slightly higher action than mine, the USACG is a perfect neck. I would definitely recommend them, and next time I will be more specific and have Tommy build me a thicker neck. I don't think he would go for a double expanding rod though

Any update on the Warmoth J neck with graphite rods that you ordered? How does the weight of the new Warmoth compare with the USACG?

I think the USACG is still lighter than the Warmoth with graphite, mainly because the USACG is so thin, and Tommy picks his woods carefully if you ask him for "light"

Since the weather is changing again, the Warmoth neck with graphite moved a little, it is not as stiff as the steel reinforced ones, so I will probably tweak the rod less than a quarter turn. But still very stable in my book
