+1 Definitely not the real deal.

Weird finish peeling, no returns, AS IS, strange long-winded story rife with grammatical errors? I give it about 99% chance of being a scam.

It's not even worth 10 % of that price. It's a Fender, so what?

That thing looks like it had a serious run in with a weed wacker or a chain saw! YIKES!

For that price, it'd better play itself!

I think it's a fake too.

The headstock is wrong. That's a 70's or 80's logo.

The neck wear on the back of the neck is inconsistent, which looks wrong. It should just be in the middle of the neck.

The streaky paint loss looks all wrong, ie manmade.

Something's defo not right. It's a con.

Here's a proper bit of wear.

more than that, w/all that body wear, why is the headstock not yellowed? that just doesn't look right to me.

Um guys ... did you read the add text? This guy is not a native speaker, spelling and grammer says "Nigerian Scam" ... weird story about buying a millionaire's "stuffs" ... international bank transfers ... no refunds ... etc.

It's a scam. Period.

Maybe he'd take this cool $50,000 check I got from my dead uncle and send me the change?

Maybe its a scam and maybe not. Only a fool would pay top dollar without a firsthand inspection and some documentation. I am more suspicious of the ads for vintage fenders that claim originality yet there is little deterioration after 50 years. Which is harder to believe?

Guys... it's not a scam. The seller (whose text reads hilariously Russian) has a ton of ebay history. He may say "no returns", but that doesn't mean anything.

Now if you're talking overpriced, then that's a whole different issue. He's going to wish he took that $35grand offer by the time this auction is over.

I didn't look that closely, but assuming it's legit, a beat to hell burst stack knob in this market is a 7-9k bass tops.

If I were to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, I'd say he doesn't understand US currency and misplaced the decimal point. But it still looks like cheesy relic.
