Considering how GAS-sy I have been for 27 years, that is a major feat! It's amazing what responsibility and a few bills can do for you. Seriously, I have two really nice basses, but they aren't magic. I have just keep it in my pants (my wallet.) I wish I had chilled back in the mid 1990s.

Need pics of said GAS killing basses, or they don't exist.

The 62' reissue is top knotch. I put it next to my original '62 and wonder if I should leave them alone together in a dark room. Old meets young sorta thang...
This may be the final installment to my arsenal of basses. |

I don't go through basses either since I went the custom route...now amps are another story.

Although I almost sold my TL-5 a few times, I was keen to keep a bass for a whole year for the first time in a long time. I forgot about buying stuff!

| | | Haven't bought a bass since 2007. Good with what I have for now. Come to think of it, I think I've only bought 1 guitar since then...must be getting old. Haven't really seen anything that's made me unbearably GASsy...which oddly enough usually ISN'T the case with getting old .

It feels good to focus more on my playing and trying to be content with what I have.

I'll call it progress. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
