After....I dunno...2.5 years? or so, the stock issue Dunlops were finally dull enough for me to replace.
I put on some of the new DA balanced tension nickles, and she's back to factory fresh tone.

I love this bass!!!!

I like that. The 'bound without blocks' fretboard is my favorite look on a RW or Ebony board. Pure class. Dig it!

+1 I hadn't seen a picture of that bass in a while. That is as close to 'perfect' in a 60's style J as I've seen.

Chef's neck close-ups inspired me to post close-ups of my VP5 one piece maple neck. Simply beautiful. This is pretty much the only bass I play anymore.

I consider myself very fortunate that I have mine. I could not afford one now with the new prices. The prices they sell for used now are a real steal.
