I spent a decade trying to find my voice with anything BUT a Fender style Bass but in the end, i gravitated back towards the Orginal, there is something to be said about that Fender tone and the familiar feel. I love modern Basses as well but the sound in my head comes from a Fender style Bass.
THE Bass i used pre Fender days (ive been thourgh many, this Thumb is incredible!) and my current Fender style Bass (Been using Fender style for almost 10 years now)
