Hey guys- just registered here and hope to get to be acquainted with all of you! To start of my first question, I've been recently craving a 10 string (5x2) bass because the jazz band I play in has a few songs on our set that I personally think need the extra power to fill in the "spaces". Unfortunately, the only 10 string basses I have found are 2 Dean Hammers which I have no way of getting (sellers are too far away and can't ship). If anyone has any leads, that would be fantastic! (Oh, and I can't shell out 3000$ for a godlyke, though I wish I could
) If it comes down to it, I could settle for an 8 string as my local music store has 2 different 8 strings to choose from (ESP B208FM and Dean Edge 8). I just want a 10 because it gives me the option of the Low B which I extensively use in our jazz band setlist. Sorry for the loaded first question! Thanks!
