Offical B.C. Rich Club!

Well, I posted earlier asking if there was an official B.C. rich club. Since I couldn't find one through the search function, no one has spoken up, I am going to create one!! So lovers of all things pointy. post 'em if you got em!! I'll start with my BCR's, past and present:

Current:

1981 Glitter Rock White Eagle Deluxe

2007 Custom Shop Mockingbird Supreme

2001 Custom Shop Mockingbird Supreme

1986 Warlock Deluxe - Undergoing Restoration

Past B.C. Rich's:

1981 Eagle Deluxe (Really Miss This One )

1983 NJ Eagle

1984 U.S. Series Ironbird (Still Looking for a USA NT Ironbird Bass)

1984 NJ Mockingbird

No pictures of: 1984 Warlock Deluxe, 1985 Bich Supreme, 1987 ST Bass.

Anyways, hope to see your BCR's.

Definitely not a fan of most of the BC Rich stuff I see, but that eagle series actually looks pretty cool.

Eagles are GREAT basses. They hang perfectly neutral and are also quite appropriate for any type of music. From Geezer, to Bill Bodine, to Neal Gerardo (6 string version)

Hey that first Mockingbird, is that a trans black finish, because I've seen there trans black look really grey and black then I've seen whatever color that is. Do some of them just look like kinda rusty brown i think, because I love that

The trans black looks different depending on what light it is seen in. Normally it looks kind of charcoal gray/black, but under direct light it is more of dark brown. This picture was taken the same day, just under different lighting.

don't own one but one of my favorite recorded bass tones ever comes from one

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABLwmYI09Lw

you don't see too many Riches in funk music, but with the double P it has mojo like none other!

I'm not a fan of the pointier BC Rich stuff either, but the early Rico instruments were first rate boutique level basses, IMO. I would kill for an Eagle bass, and the Mockingbird is a classic design.

Bernard Edwards of Chic also played an Eagle bass for a while. he was as funky as they come.

Here's my '80 lefty Mockingbird;

+1 the Eagle is a gorgeous bass. I had a red NJ with EMGs that I let go of out of stupidity; I had it refretted and didn't like the outcome. Later I came to find I just don't like tall frets, but at the time I just knew I didn't like it anymore. I wonder if they make a 5 string Eagle...

rysker6 that is transblack stain over quilt top. A very popular color for them, so yes, you could get that color without a problem.
