Would you mind sending me pics of your STs or putting them here?
I am seriously thinking of having my one finished in a pearl white or ordering a copy at a luthier. If you ever want to sell one... :-) One in a snakeskin or cracle design would also be interesting :-)

Cool basses!!! You are lucky! I like all of them! My one is extremely lightweighted. How are yours?

Here's my 78-79 lefty Eagle (serial #80754). I bought it back in 1988.

I need to replace the 6 position varitone switch but I'm not sure if the original is a "shorting" or "non-shorting" type switch.
Does anybody have a source for this part?

Awesome December 1978 Eagle

You could try Neal Moser for the switch

Everything you need plus a wealth of knowledge. Neal built these instruments and is glad to answer any questions you might have.

Thanks Lorne and bassclef112.

I checked out Neal's online store but couldn't find the individual rotary switch - just the complete varitone circuit. So I just fired off an email to him. Hope he can set me straight.

Please be aware though, at the moment Neal and his Wife, Earleen, might not be very fast at returning emails, due to Neal's son being ill in Hospital, I just mention it so that you do not feel ignored should a reply not be very fast

Since this is a BCRich club, I was curious to know if any of you heard of an "L.A." model? I know we deal with bass, but I got a Bich guitar yrs ago and was told thats what it is. Apparently, when I researched this, it was guitars just put together before the 1st time they were bought to burn product off but were still of great quality. Anyone know of this?

I found a luthier who agreed to refinish my black ST into a white one! Although I am also thinking of a dark metallic red...

It is just that I like to be able to see my bass on live pics! I played all black basses all my live and since I got my own sig. model in white I just love live shots more than ever while the guitar player with his 7 string is not more than a dark shadow...!

Just bought a 1983 (I think) warlock bass NJ Series off of Craigslist for $200. All black. I'm stoked, mint condition with original case.
