I am seriously thinking of having my one finished in a pearl white or ordering a copy at a luthier. If you ever want to sell one... :-) One in a snakeskin or cracle design would also be interesting :-)

I need to replace the 6 position varitone switch but I'm not sure if the original is a "shorting" or "non-shorting" type switch.
Does anybody have a source for this part?

Everything you need plus a wealth of knowledge. Neal built these instruments and is glad to answer any questions you might have.

I checked out Neal's online store but couldn't find the individual rotary switch - just the complete varitone circuit. So I just fired off an email to him. Hope he can set me straight.

I know we deal with bass, but I got a Bich guitar yrs ago and was told thats what it is. Apparently, when I researched this, it was guitars just put together before the 1st time they were bought to burn product off but were still of great quality. Anyone know of this?

I played all black basses all my live and since I got my own sig. model in white I just love live shots more than ever while the guitar player with his 7 string is not more than a dark shadow...!
