I just left my local Sam Ash (Ontario, CA.) and they have a used 80's Koa Mockingbird Deluxe in there, if anyone's interested.

She's got some wear, but it's quite a beauty! It's got one of those honkin' big brass bridges like they had in those days, and two cream Dimarzio P pickups. It was definitely in dire need of a setup!

And remember...it's priced at $1499, they might go less on it! I need to shut up before I talk myself into spending money that I can't afford to spend!

| | | I considered making a new thread for this, but I figured I might as well ask here. There's this BC Rich Eagle on the 'bay, and hot damn does it look nice. I've got half a mind to save up and get it (it gets relisted consistently), then save up some more for some replacement pickups if I don't like the defaults. Only problem is, I wonder now if it's a decent bass, physically. I know BC Riches can be a bit hit-or-miss here, it seems, so I figured I'd go to the BC Rich gurus. Would this bass be a decent upgrade from a Squier P, or am I better off saving for something else?

The bass at Sam Ash mentioned in the previous post has already sold, but I followed the link and found several others. Not in the same class, but not the same hit on the wallet either.
