I want opinions. What do you think looks better? Black dots or Pearl blocks. I really like both, but I think the back dots give it more a vintage 50s look. What do you think?
compared to...
I was plannin' on orderin a SX PBass in a 3 tone sunburst for the body only. I could always get the SPB57 3TS and use the maple/black dots neck for this bass and turn around and sale the blocked neck. I don't know???
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Steve |

Either way, you got a sexy axe!
Lol, the post above yours shows why I like black dots!

I actually had a "Bettie" decal made from best-decals. I don't know how good it's gonna look. I decided to call her Bettie Pearl (since I got the pearl knobs and block inlays). I'm just tryin' to talk myself into keepin' this neck on because it feels pretty good.

Steve | Both do look good anyway, but the feel is the most important.

Seeing as it's a new thread I feel like posting my black n maple beast. By the way, her name is Angela, named after this very nice lady, Angela Gossow. Listen to some of her vocals and you'll realise why I named something as aggressive as a Stingray after her.

Here´s my fingerprint magnet:
It´s a Korean made Tribute and plays like butter. Great piece of gear, especially for the money.

I thought this looked interesting also...

I sell them for about the same price as Nash, but they are all hand-crafted instead of just being assembled. |

There's been no nastiness at all, since the first page, when somebody called me "a freak" because I didn't have a white pickguard on my P Bass (wonder where he is now ).

It's a Sadowsky Standard bass with the soapbars (instead of humcancelling J pups) in J bass locations. The pups are not in the 'Modern locations' and the bass does not have 24 frets. .
