Is that Roger Waters autograph on your bass? Very cool - he is a hero to Black and Mapler's worldwide!

Not big deal Rev. Just a joke between two people from the same country but in different parts of the world.

Let´s get back on topic.

You might expect to find more tolerance and harmony, especially in the diverse world of Black'n'Maple ("Ebony and ivory..." , etc. ), but in fairness to RevGroove, the TB forum rules do clearly state that all posts should be written in English .

It's really nothing personal, guys .

Now, more bass porn please ....

If those two basses had a baby, it'd be a short scale, grey P/J with a pao ferro fretboard - which just doesn't bear thinking about , so let's just be glad that you have two of the sexiest basses on TB !

That '65 may not be B'n'M, but it's one of the most syliva-inducing basses that I've seen in the two years of this club's history ....

(Whoops, just commited an act of treason )!

Cool Fender book too, BTW .

I've wrote a single thread only for that Precision with plenty of pictures of it !!!
Just click on : Fender Precision Bass L Series 1965 Olympic White

The Fender books are pornographic magazines to incite them sexually!!!

I hadn't seen the thread, but I know the bass .

Here are some pics from my hard drive, which were downloaded from a For Sale ad, some years ago ...

I gotta say though, that I don't buy the "never played" story , as it appears to have had a fret stoning at some point ...

Either way, it's one of the five basses on my "Basses I'd Actually Give Up a Testicle For" list, so well done for snagging it - It's a "White 'n' Rosewood" treasure .

You should have it in your hands before saying that....
Maybe never played is too much exaggerated... but "Never Gigged would better do...

It's in Switzerland now... If you know the doctor too... He used to say that's "The finest Precision Bass" in the world.
He keeps telling that after all the time since he sold it to me !!!!
