good basses for metal, one trick ponies, heavy as sin.

That's why I have a few of them mixed up with the others

He mostly did guitars but a few basses, out of the hundreds that he did, he kept about 300 pictures of the best ones and I made a thread out of a few
My uncle, the Jackson painter

Yeah, just a few, right?

I don't really think the Charvel's are one trick ponies though. But I do have a few other basses I play too.

Ok 2 questions. first need replacement screws in black for my pickups but lowes and places do not carry screws that size. any suggestions on where to go online or wherever to find them? questions 2. found a guy on craigs that has a jackson t bird. from one pic it looks in good condition and he says hes only taking offers and his latest is 1200. is it worth that guys?

you mean this one?

if so I would LOVE for him to get 1200, because as much as I like mine for 1200 I would sell it tomorrow. I never liked the pickguard option, so when I bought mine I told them to leave it off and not drill the holes.

hard to say. to someone who REALLY wants one, it may be worth that much to them. The 94 TBX was the only version that got the body/neck binding from the factory.

for me to buy a mate for mine, it would have to be less than a grand, but that is because the thrill of owning one is not there since I've had mine since 94 AND, I'm poor ...

True i understand. there is a difference. but i look at the overall true value in this case. id love to give him that as i want it badly but have to be practical at the same time. so you would sell yours for 1200/ also any ideas where to get replacement screws?

when i buy a unit that has rusted screws as long as the heads are intact i paint them, if they are shot I buy silver screws and paint them.
