Official Elrick Bass Club Thread...part 2!!!

PART TWO!!!!
Here goes part two of the Official Elrick Bass Club. I think others should understand the unbelievible playability and craftsmenship of Rob Elrick's basses. His basses are incredible and I believe they are too cheap compaired to other basses, such as Fodera and other completed hand made basses.
Here is the first thread, and anyone who has an Elrick is invited to join. Everyone please start posting your Elrick pics in the new thread, thanks!

I am trying to link every name on the club list to a picture of their Elrick. I am missing a few, so any help (with a picture) from the member would be appreciated!

Thanks for that!! ... going the extra mile and all.

I did notice that I have the same bass pictured as Danny R.
Which reminds me that I gotta take some new pics.
( I've had it so long without taking pics myself ... shame on me. )

After having my '04 Gold Standard 5'ver for a while ... I finally took some new pics. Ash/Spalt Maple top/Maple neck/Wenge board ... Bart PU's and pre.

... pretty cool Spalt Maple top ... can see where it had a sucker branch (near vol knob).

... figured I'd sneak in a pic of my Cort/Elrick RB5 (since I've written about it a few times ... hey, it's part Elrick )
Bart NS2MTB pre, D'addario Half Wounds (gives it that nice Motown thump )

You wouldn't have the ability to record it, would you? ... interested in hearing the nordy combo (especially the preamp).

Gotta say ... your Elrick is beautiful! That quilt top is quite alive looking. I'm really digging that wenge with maple fretboard contrast. Looks smart.

Thanks for the complement. I don't really have any way of recording, but I will say I was flat out floored. Extremely versatile and very open, not compressed. The preamp is very useful, no junk. It sounds completely different than the barts, but has everything from vintage P to vintage J, also all from Ken Smith to Fodera, more than pleased.

Did you get Series or Parallel DC's?
... does it still have that Elrick growl?

Congratulations Nalapit!! I just can't take my hand out of my baby!!!

I have no pics of my bass, but I want to share with you the demo/video of my band; this was taked at Jazz Café Escazú (Costa Rica) on July 02th 2010; was my first gig with the Elrick and I'm really, really happy with the bass!!!

Please feel free to comment about everything: the band, sound, bass... I love to hear from you!!! The sound of the Elrick fits perfectly on the gig...!!
