... pretty cool Spalt Maple top ... can see where it had a sucker branch (near vol knob).
... figured I'd sneak in a pic of my Cort/Elrick RB5 (since I've written about it a few times ... hey, it's part Elrick  )
Bart NS2MTB pre, D'addario Half Wounds (gives it that nice Motown thump  )

I don't really have any way of recording, but I will say I was flat out floored. Extremely versatile and very open, not compressed. The preamp is very useful, no junk. It sounds completely different than the barts, but has everything from vintage P to vintage J, also all from Ken Smith to Fodera, more than pleased. |

... does it still have that Elrick growl?

I have no pics of my bass, but I want to share with you the demo/video of my band; this was taked at Jazz Café Escazú (Costa Rica) on July 02th 2010; was my first gig with the Elrick and I'm really, really happy with the bass!!!
