Two different beasts, but I am glad I have the singlecut very much, sustain for days and not nearly as bright as the MTD, so I am seeing this bass getting a lot of playing time. I've got the understanding that the 5'vers neck profile is more like a P5 and less like your typical maple necked Elrick 5'vers ... is this a good comparison?

Sound is great, but the singlecut didn't really work for me, and the six strings neck is a bit much for me after having major surgery to my left wrist, gonna stick with the 4's as they are much easier on my wrist to play.
