I thought I was on the list...

Here's the one I currently own, but I've had 4 or 5 others in the past.

Rob had gone out of the country right when we had started nailing down the particulars. Here is what I am shooting for. 5 string Classic hybrid, Bart/Bart, birdeye FB & Neck, flamed ash body, possibly a figured ash top.

The Nordy's are Big Singles and it has an Aggie OPB-3 pre. It has an unbelievably huge tone! Unfortunately, no sound clips, but I will say that I wouldn't hesitate to have a set put into an Elrick.

I know of 1 bass from Rob that he put Nordstrands in from the beginning. Is this that bass or were these dropped in later?

I'm completely blown away by the tone of these pickups, especially with the Aggie pre...huge tone!

I'm not too sure why Rob hasn't looked into using these pickups more as a stock option, IMO, they're much better than the Aero's that he's used in the past.

If I were to order another set, I may actually opt for the Fat Stacks which can be wired into Big Singles with a switch of sorts.

I would not hesitate to recommend a set of Nordy p-ups in an Elrick bass.
