A TBer has it (along with the walnut singlecut I used to have!), but wishes to remain annonymous

Here's the singlecut:

So will the MIK Elricks be allowed in or not? I have one but I'm not sure if it should be in the company of custom built basses......lol. Though it does play very well it was made in a factory.

No shame. Post a pic and get a number. Then save up and get one made by the master!

OK here you go:

And it's not that I don't think the USA Elricks are worth it- I just can't see having that much invested in a bass right now. I used to own a Benavente and I played it maybe twice a week, but it had some issues as well. Now I'm much happier with this bass and hope to upgrade it with the USA electronics in the near future.

So thanks for letting me in the club with the bigger brothers.......

Talked to Rob yesterday. The build is progressing very quickly! I sell to many luthiers and Rob is a freakin machine! I mean, his basses are 100% handmade. He carves his necks and body with a hand plane and draw knife! That's just amazing, considering how many basses he builds. He has my neck ready and my body in glue-up/with the top on. The amazing thing is, he has another 30 he is working on at the same time! Wow!

I guess I'm just a little excited.

He said he took on 30, but while he was waiting on my wood to arrive one more came in. He calls me the scraggler.

I didn't think it was you, but just had to ask. Did you ever receive the NJS, you purchased?

I called out sick today, also. But my wife called back to me and said I better go into work!

This is my Elrick. Bought the bass sight unseen and it was the best money I ever spent. I was really pumped to see it on the Elrick website in the Gallery. Thats where I got the picks. Count me in for the Elrick Club!

Thanks for including an enthusiastic Cort Elrick RB5 Owner. LOVE my bass and this body style, lightweight, and feel, is the best I've played.

God a dream to pick up a single-cut fretless 6 from Rob directly some day.

Blessings!

One day I'll order an Elrick SC 6er. One day....

Anyway, does anyone want to join my club called, "Michael's Hate List Based On Jealousy Of Other People's Nice Basses."

Don't be too hard on yourself, man. We're all jealous of somebody. It can be difficult to just be a player...and not a player hater.
