Yes, gloss finish on the entire neck. All I can say is the bass is worth every cent.

I like the looks of that black Squier. I've been keeping my eyes out for a gloss black with natural maple neck and fret board, no gloss on that end. Might be no such animal.

It'd be pretty simple to take some fine sandpaper to it and turn it into more of a satin finish. I've seen it done before with great results. I'm digging that bass too.

I love a maple neck and fretboard, bot I'm not a big fan of gloss on the fretboard. I am used to it on the back of the neck, but even there I still prefer natural wood if possible. That is one thing I love about a carvin neck. Coincidentally, I bought a Maple Carvin bolt on guitar neck with a rosewood fretboard that bolted right onto my strat with no problems. Makes me wonder of their bass necks will do the same...

2 things:

1: Many, many fine looking basses here, but, IMO, JoeDaddio's (Inca?) Silver with ano gold PG and covers in one of the best looking P basses I have ever seen. Nice pics, too.

B: My P is a Squier. Can I play? It's MIJ, from '83...

Regardless, nice thread, gents.

Congratulations, and welcome to the family! Of course, with no pictures, my first sentence is only conditional.
