If this would've shown up last year, it would be in my house right now. Sadly, this year it ain't in the cards.

Wow. I could run up there now and be gigging with it tonight at the Rib House. Of course not having that kind of coin sitting around for bass-purchasing might hurt this plan.
That is a pretty cool "find" and in such nice shape too.
Hmmmm, what are kidneys going for these days?

Pffft white is the best colour anyway.

I wasn't thrilled with the white when I first got it, but it's really growing on me. Has a bit of a retro vibe that I never got with the black.

Probably going to fit a bridge cover soon.

I love a tort pick guard on a sunburst finish!

My first Fender bass was white and I didn't think I'd like it that much either, but I don't think that way any longer.

Congratulations in any case.

I traded in patience years ago for higher alcohol tolerance.

What would you think of a Precision pickguard fused with olive ash or carpathian elm wood veneers, similar to these?--

On my 96 MIM restoration P, I'm thinking of doing a control plate for the pot cavity. To do this, I'm going to have to get the plate, line it up to the pick guard & cut the excess off the guard. Kind of a Jazz/Precision fusion. :P I think it will look pretty cool with a tort guard on a black body with a chrome plate.

Not my cup-o-tea but that could be pretty cool. I love unique P's.

The darker one on a white PBass or the lightest one on a black one. Definately!
