The Dusty Hill cs is also a beauty, but way out of my league.
I got a realy lucky deal on the Sting sign, otherwise it would still have been a dream...
Well I figure business will be better in 2013...

Got the first quarter already financially covered.
Plus I'm working on some real good prospects and projects, so who knows...
Perhaps a real nice P-bass could be mine by the end of 2013!

If finance would allow, I might consider a luthier I know have me build one. I reckon it will be about 2/3 of the Fender CS price.
He recently built this bass:

| I've got a small woodshop in my garage. I've built several (14) basses over the last few years before my health deteriorated and slowed me down, but I've collected some really nice slabs of maple that would make some fantastic necks. Just been waiting on the right project. |

I am sorry about this, but in the end of the 70's 7 beginning 80's a Precission built in 1964 was nothing more than an old Fender bass. It's a shame... | No reason to apologize for the pic or the opinion about the bass. Pretty sure I'm not the only one who has had an old Fender bass pass through their hands. I bought a '62 P (very much like the one pictured) in '68, used it a few years and sold it to buy a Dan Armstrong in '72. No big deal, just another tool. I didn't make or loose any money on the transactions so I was happy. The P bass was just another used / slightly worn bass at that time and I thought I wanted something new and shiny. Oh how we've grown smarter as we've aged. (or not, G.A.S still haunts me . ) |

I am in love with this color on my Precision. It's a 2005 body. Fender needs to bring this color back. It's a nice transparent dark wine red burst in to a black. Anyone know the offical name for this color? |
