This is my newest acquisition, a 2012 Fender American Standard Precision. Bought it to take some of the sting out of my latest break-up. It's actually my third P-Bass, picked it because it resembled a '73 I had some years back and I haven't had anything with a maple board in quite a while. I like it a lot, big P tone through my GK rig. The 'burst is actually as dark as it appears in the picture, and I like the tort guard. Please give me a number!

After many years of resisting, I broke down last month and bought a MIM P bass. Given the price, I was surprised at how terrific it sounds and plays. I am now a convert and plan on adding a more upscale P bass sometime soon.

Can I become a member of the club?

My favorite color combo of a P'...Almost pulled the trigger on this MIM several times...nice looking Bass!

Very nice! That dark burst may yet change my mind on my next acquisition. That's just beautiful!

That dark burst looks beautiful. I'd personally go with a black guard, but that thing is awesome!!

I think if someone offered that in a trade I might even be talked out of my 60th Ann!
