Looks better than it plays. There are picks of John Entwistle playing one of these in the early Who days. Didn't last long. Looks great in my living room. |

I'm shopping for a gig-rig now for it. Any suggestions? I like tubes. Gonna try out the Randy Jackson Mark Bass head this week, I'll let you guys know how they pair up.

It's a perfect fit and looks like it belongs on the guitar. Replaced the tuning machines too with mini-Gotohs.
It may be more than the bass is worth, but this is my only one for now, so I wanted it to work well. |

That is a sweet looking bass. I saw one that same color on eBay recently, and it was the first one I'd ever seen in that color (they usually are black, black burst or tobacco burst). I damn near bought it I thought it was so cool. Congrats! |

.
PB. | When you say full volume cut's tone out of the loop, is it the master volume at full, or individual pickup volumes, both? Looked everywhere for more info on this to no avail.

And I got idea about adding the Babicz bridge and nylon wrap strings after watching your video on YouTube. You got a great sound from that bass, and so I figured this one would work for me too. |

All of the above.
Each volume cuts out the tone at the max setting.
*Can't re-test it because mine is is the shop having the pinned bridge un-pinned. I put on thicker strings than 'normal' and it messed with the intonation. I then discoverd that the bridge would not move. I was sure that it was supposed to be a floating bridge, so that is what I will have.
I tested it out on my other Gretsch and it is noticable once you look for it.
BP.
