Wouldn't it be slightly strange to have your bass by someone else? Not sure why this is blowing my mind so much.

IMO the bass community lost a great luthier when JP stopped building basses. Always hoped (still do) he would eventually come back into building (at least part time). JP, care to comment?????
I should have bought your 31" sixer when i had the chance. Do you still have it?

It was your work that helped to convince me to try a 33" 6 string, I've never looked back, got 33" 4, 5 and 6 strings now

Eude
One skjoldslayer 4 string fretted
One Zia 6 string fretless

both 33" of course.

the rest of the specs is up to Pete I love to let the luthier decide !

Thanks Eduardo.

Sorry but I'm not coming back to bass building. I do build wooden passive houses if you'd like one

I sold my personal Zia to someone in Japan. NO way to contact him now. I tried PMs, eail, internet, Facebook....no luck.

I wich I could buy it back

Here are some pics of the JPBasses Pete is working on right now.

First guys getting a bass from him might get one of the few original JP disc logos I still have on the headstock

oh wow!!! It's really nice to see those JP designs revived! Excellent to see Pete is bringing back these great body styles. Are they keeping the JP headstock? Love the last one (walnut?)

I love the JP designs so much. I definitely see myself talking to Pete about one of these at some point.
