Nice.....how did you manage to get such low action on your Landing.....I have the Hipshot bridge also but I've got tapewounds on it now so I can't string through....

Believe it or not, the set up from Jimmy is still holding strong. He set the action and I never changed it. The intonation is still damn near perfect. Jimmy delivered with D'Addario Bright Round Wounds (EXL170) and I have stuck with those. I will try to take a pic of the string height, I don't consider it super low in my opinion.

Im looking at a L300. But without being able to plug it in Im not sure it will have the sound Im looking for. Like an old vintage Gibson G-3 grabber play threw a tube amp. MCML do you have any feed back on the L300 you posted?
