Any word on color options? Will it be black or natural again?

This is a 32" jazz bass just like I have been looking at buying. But I have concerns. First I know that all of the medium scale basses I have seen so far have been built in Japan. This one has no Japan markings and the only thing that looks like a serial number is on the neck plate and you can't see it very well. I don't think anyone is hiding anything as they state it is a custom built warmouth. But, what does that mean. Can anyone shed any light on what they think this bass might be? It would be a great price compared to getting one from Japan right now and I am really thinking seriously about getting it I just don't want to not know what I really have.
OK hey EduardoK I wrote the post above about a medium scale Fender Jazz that is show here a a Warmoth custom built. The guy said he had 1300 in it. I don't know but I got it. It is not here yet (sometime next week I think) but when it arrives I will post pictures. I can say I am excited and hope it is what I think it will be. I just am not sure about this Warmoth custom build thing. If it fits like my medium Squire P but plays like a J then I will be totally happy. If not I guess I can mod the pups to get it there. Anyway just want to let you know I now have the sister to me medium scale P with this medium scale J. I think I am going to start posting some of my full scale basses on TB to thin the herd.

I have a 1980s Fender P bass 32" scale LEFTY that I just purchased. These are tough to find and the only ones I've seen on ebay had been treated fairly rough. This one is in very good shape. It is the vintage white body that has yellowed very nicely over time. The seller had replaced the white pickguard with a brown tortoise pickguard. He's sending both so I can use whichever. He also added the chrome pickup and bridge covers. I've never played with those on a bass so that will be interesting. If I can do it then I'd like to leave them on. Here's one photo from his site. I'll post pics when it arrives.
OK I just received the Jazz bass I bought of the bay. I was told it is a Wormoth built Fender Jazz. I am going to have to research this to see what I have at some point but all I can say now is WOW!
I already owned a 32" P base built in Japan, and now I have its sister the 32" Jazz bass. I was told it was all American built but I wouldn't know any difference except for the crafted in Japan on the P. Other wise the quality is the same great quality. EduardoK you asked me if I could tell the difference in sound when I played one. I can say yes the P has the standard P burp and punch sound that I expect, and the Jazz has that beautiful smooth Jazz sound with a good balance of high and medium in the tone. As for playing both necks seem to be about the same. The nut measures the same on both, the neck on the warmouth may be a little thinner. But both are like glass to play on and I love them. I may sell all of my 34" scale basses. I don't think I need anything but these two for Fenders of course I have to keep my EB3 fat bottomed girl and I may have a deal on an Allen Woody runblecat short scales. I don't know if I am allowed to say this here but, the guy I bought the Jazz from said he had $1300 in it and I got it for $650 which I though was a good price as all of the current medium scale ones on the bay were running $1200 shipped from Japan.
Most importantly, it plays great, sounds great, and is just too cool to loose.
I have to get time this weekend to get the pictures posted. I plan to post the sisters in one picture.
OK I settled down from playing for a minute and took pictures of the sisters. The medium scale P and the medium scale Jazz. Because one (P) is white and one (J) is black, I placed them in the ever popular yin - yang position for an artsy look. Hope you like seeing them as much as I do having them.
I played the new Medium scale Warwick 5-string today at NAMM and LOVED it - Great feel and great tone. The neck is nice and narrow as I like them, and it was just so easy to play. Beautifully made, as you would expect for a show demo sample. The passive controls seem to be V T V T , but I didn't get to play with it too long.
What I didn't like was the $1499 list price. Just too expensive for a RockBass. C'mon Warwick - get off the cloud and get real.

Was there much hum from the passive pickups? Agree with price being rediculous. Even after after knocking off street price you're coming in at a hefty sum.
