My Fenders

I'm a Fender guy... had pbass copy for a long time that I ripped the frets out of... then I finally bought a japanese Fender Jazz Bass in 1997 and then I bought a USA Highway-1 PBass in 2003.

I know it's not a bass but I got the 2003 American Standard strat last November and loving it

Love them all...

I play mostly jazz. I try to emulate an upright (which I would play if I had one.). I roll off the bass a little and bring up the mid and treble on my amp. Seems to work for me. You can hear sound clips on a cd of The Seattle Jazz Singers on Amazon, iTunes, or cd Baby.

I've been craving to try one of those out for a while. Is it difficult to move from being a guitar/bass player to one of those things? How about the tunning in fifths?

Nifty pic of my Squier Standard Precision V. Really enjoying this bass as of late, although it could use new pickups.

A quick picture of the basses that are "out of their cases" and sitting out at my place....Not feeling like digging basses out of the closet and getting them out right now....

Before I plug in my bass, I always take a second to say out loud "Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

How'd you guess the name of the Modulus? Actually didn't start calling it that until I put the GHS strings with the red silk on it.
