The board was put in a vacuum oven and impregnated with acrylic resin... it's very silky feeling, extremely hard, and retains a good bit of 'woodiness' to it's tone. |

She has one very minor flaw; a little piece of the top part of one of the tuners, broke off...apparently it's soft enough metal that these things happen? My tech things it either got bumped while being packed for shipping or maybe it happened in transit. So I have to track down new tuners. Other than that...WOW!!! I'M IN LOOOOOOVE!

I love those two on the right, the light and dark wood looks awesome IMO.
That's one type of bass I don't own (natural), but I would really love to. |

...and this cheap acoustic 5-string for impromptu jamming with friends outside "acceptable" playing hours (which here in Switzerland is after 7PM or after Saturday 4:30 until Monday morning).
So in 7 months since I started playing bass I've gathered this small family:
My wife said she hopes I don't choose to start playing the tuba.

| | | An update to my previous post, I just bought a new bass, and im pretty proud of it, not only because it looks amazing IMO but also because I'm 17 and i bought this with my own money, which i saved up. Well, here's the bass, a Schecter Raiden Elite 4. If someone else has this bass or the 5, could you please tell me exactly what each knob does. There was no manual. Im pretty sure the top left is master volume, the bottom left is bass, and the bottom right is tone, but i could be wrong about the last two.
And excuse the messy room in the background |

This is my first and only b-guitar, purchased in 2010 around May.
It is a europeean made (possibly german) Pbass copy.
(Tenson more exactly if anyone heard about it.)
The reason why the pickguard is all covered up with stickers, is that the paint chipped on some areas, and until I will re-paint the pickguard, it will stay this way.
Anywho, saw some undeniably amazing basses in earlier posts.
+ that Spector collection from Thomas was mindblowing. |
