I am normally the same way.
But on that bass nothing else would look good.
It is a Musicman Stingray 2008 limited edition in Sequoia Gold with all gold factory hardware.
Has a special faux Lizard Musicman case it was originally shipped in from MM as part of that years LE edition.
This one is a keeper for life, no doubt about it

He said that he wanted to fix it up, but didn't ever get around to it, so he gifted it to me. It took me two years to finally finish it up, and I LOVE this bass.
I went in a different direction rather than trying to restore it to original Ric specs. I didn't want to do what has already been done many times before in the Ric factory, so I got creative.
Anyways, this thing sounds fantastic, and plays like warm butter.
