haha! Thanks! I have searched and searched for a great 6 string bass, but am realizing that my 4s will probably remain my main dudes. I am shipping the TRB6P to the Netherlands tomorrow. I'm sure they will like it The BB425X is the biggest surprise to me. I love that bass, except for a bit of neck dive. I mostly use it on the praise and worship team, and found that the B was more solid if I ran the strings through the bridge, instead of the body. (Surprised me!). You don't need to spend tons of $$ for great basses.

Happy thanksgiving!

Finally broke down and sold off some gear to buy my first new US Lakland.
Have been drooling over the pics of this one for a year now.
Finally put an end to this GAS pain

Cool Combustions!

Hey Nolly, very interesting to see you have another Combustion. Nice colours! Cool to see you hanging out here also.

Any comments on maple vs rosewood fingerboard, knowing that you chose maple for both?

I take it the black one is from the Nolly-cam video? That video introduced me to the world of Dingwall basses. I drove pretty far to check out a few, and the fanned frets were just as I had read - not a problem getting used to them. I'm looking forward to sitting down with a Dingwell again when I get the chance.

Have you made any special mods to your Combustions? Where and how did you acquire them?

Cheers,

and we've had plenty spray cans should be thrown out, and I asked if I can get them
I planing to get babicz bridge and new pickups. I doubt about with the Pu´s I want
I have eyes on DP123, DP149, Fender Super 55 Split Coil Pickups Jazz or any other set of Seymour Duncan's selection or EMG's selection. but I doubt about in which I want
im also planing to get new pickguard, pearl or tort

tb cross-pollination

Here's pics of a recently completed project/build from the Luthiers Corner Coming soon; Steinbacker fretless bass for anyone who hasn't seen it. A "bass to show" here none the less.

I'm having problems w/photobucket so only 2 pics for now. More on the LC link.

Go w/the pearl. And if you want passive pu's- Seymour Duncan, and if active - EMG X-series. Keep on rocking in Nuuk dudelove!
