I've been lurking here awhile now admiring many gorgeous basses. I've played guitar on and off for 40+ years but never owned a bass. Wanted to give it a try and found a Squier VM Jazz in the local CL for $150. No issues, and it perfectly fills the bill for this newbie. I didn't expect it would sound as good as it does through my 5F4 home-brew Super. That will keep me from springing for a bass amp for a while.

Here's a pic with my '83 Tele.

Merry Christmas.

1999 Fender Jazz '62 reissue lake placid

I have a few basses but this one always seems to see daylite around the house considering I don't do much local gigs anymore. Super fast neck with a natural growl on this passive bass!

Sorry for the blurry image, I was in the zone and moving.

Here's my ESP LTD JM-500

Ash body, neck through, passive EMGs (might upgrade to actives), black chrome hardware, spider inlays...

I may or may not have had sexual relations with this guitar.

Couple of new pics from me

My basses on my extremely gaudy sofa.

And a weird perspective, making the Squier look much bigger than the Fender! It's not, they're exactly the same size.

Ibanez SR750 and Squier Jaguar SS

Pardon the Picture. Best I can do with a cell phone and limited space and light.
