Wanted to give it a try and found a Squier VM Jazz in the local CL for $150. No issues, and it perfectly fills the bill for this newbie. I didn't expect it would sound as good as it does through my 5F4 home-brew Super. That will keep me from springing for a bass amp for a while.

Super fast neck with a natural growl on this passive bass!
