It was black from the factory, then I painted it white, then I painted it red, then I painted it black again, then I sanded it to it's current finish (all over the course of a year cause I couldn't decide what color I liked). Then it spent a week at my guitarist's house and now has a stock Ibanez 7 string guitar pickup in the bridge, because why not. Wired with a master volume and 3 way selector. Attachment 320795 | That looks wicked!

Pretty good actually. Had it for over 4 years at this point and never had a single problem with it. It's done loads of gigs, even used it on some recordings, and it sounds pretty good with the Terror as well. |

Squier precision vintage modified OW. Ashdown mag 300H + mag 115. I should get a 414 (4 ohm) but at the moment I'm happy with it. I paid 270 for the bass (including gigbag, shipping) and 280 for head + cabinet. |

I had a custom white pickguard made for my Yamaha BB424X. I don't see the black one going back on any time soon. Brian Wilson style! Loving this colour combo.
This other oddity is really good fun to play. I had a nicely figured Westone Thunder I bass body lying around. I've never seen one with such a snappy figure!
I walked into a junk shop back home in the town my parents live in. I was really after a guitar bag. Having spotted a suitable bag I looked inside and lo, there was a Sammick Greg Bennet Corsair bass. I didn't like the stock electronics or the body, but the neck was really comfortable so I decided to pair up the Westone body with the Sammick neck.
The bass is the same length as my Yamaha Pacifica guitar and is really light as well. I have to ride the bus to my practices, so I might take this for a change once in a while.

I must admit I thought they were pretty cool! I've got a couple cheapy builds planed, thinking I might have to get some. I wish they had Galaga ones!!! That was my favorite arcade game when I was young...

It is Joe Sanchez's old bass. From what I have been told it was a one off design for him but I'm sure some of the Fodera gear heads may know better. |
