Updating the love: three basses have come in my studio and tried to take the place of my favorite back-up bass, this Silverburst Ray34. The most recent was an American Deluxe P. Yeah, it got boxed up to ship out today. The Ray34's awesome neck profile put it to shame. Still the best $350 I ever spent.

I am a little disappointed I got the honeyburst over the silverburst personally (not that honeyburst isn't a cool finish, just prefer silver after the fact). Either way I am very happy with my SBMM Ray34 (it brings the thunda from down unda), I got it before registering for this site, but finally here's a pic with it.

I like the honey burst-better than the silver, actually. I only ended up with silver because it was cheap.

Now a honey burst with a maple fretboard would be da bomb!

Check Pickguard Heaven. They make replacement pickguards for EBMM Stingray basses. I think the EBMM and SBMM pg's are the same size.

With mint green, I would go with a parchment or antique pearl. But that's just my opinion.

Something I really wish EBMM would revisit was to sell pick guards and other spare parts for their Sterling lines.

While we do prefer and like to drool over the pics posted by new members, I tend to work on the honor system. Besides, if someone wants to join this group and get a number without having a SBMM then they have bigger issues than any of us!

One way is to open a Photobucket account (it's free) and upload your picture. Then copy and paste the IMG link into your post. Your picture will be displayed.
