| | Registered User | | | | | a question about a thumb BO6 string... would one of these basses ever come from the factory with the three band EQ of the thumb NT6?
i have a chance to buy one and it looks like a factory set up but am not sure. it has a stacked volume knob which i know the BO doesn`t usually come with.
anyone? ty

stacked vol, regular middle knob and stacked bass/treble.
the thing is that this layout is on a BO which usually come with 2 band EQ,right?

you might also try looking it up with the serial number lookup tool on warwick's site.

it looks clean and unmodified in the cavity area.

i did look at the warwick owners manual and i am right about the three band being on the NT and the two band on the BO.
obviously i want an unmodified bass so this is important to know

At least for me, where I'm at it was. But I have her and she's treated me well ever since. And I only get a little bit of flack from my 'conservative' friends for her 2 extra strings.
I actually haven't seen a single 5er at my school yet...I may be alone up there.
Edit: wow...I never saw how invisible she was in the second picture...

did some routine maintenance on her right away and adjusted the rod a little.
it came with the deadest strings i have ever heard or played
i slapped an old set i had laying around just so i could hear a note lol. night and day
still gonna tweak for awhile...
not sure if i am gonna like it more than my corvette 6er or not. i am leaning towards the corvette but they are different body wood, different electronics etc.
but very nice bass nonetheless.
pics are coming

and your G is wound in the wrong direction.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about whether it was a jazz, but I got it used and never saw just the fna on the internet, my bad
The g string kept popping out in the normal position, so I stopped fighting it, lol.. Whatever works I guess..
Thanks for the kind words anyway! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
