Much appreciated!

| | | | I always wanted to check one of those out in person. I can't imagine the bandmates would be any too happy to see me whip that one out though!!! I get moans and groans already on the rare occasion that I bring the B-20 to gigs. |

The moaning is good natured enough, if I could find a steal on a standard P that would sound and play as awesome as my old goofy Japanese washburns I would have one of those too! |

What the *^%$%! Never seen it in an ad or anywhere else! WOW! Trying to track down the owner who posted it on Photobucket but cannot find a way to PM him! Dammit. I want to see the truss rod cover and ask some questions
Also, another first: a WOOD GRAIN B-20!

| | | | That's the b-20 8 string. I stupidly passed on one at $350 2 years ago. The guy who had it had some sort of Internet sales biz out of Las Vegas |

And I even have a set of pics of one anyhow. Well, my head has been in my...back pocket all day anyhow. :-( Wake up, MEKer!
Yeah, too bad you did not snag the 8'er and especially for only $350---sheesh!
Well--the wood grain B-20 is pretty interesting as the ads I have seen sure do not list it. Hmm. Wonder whats up with that. Wonder if the finish was damaged enough so that he stripped it.

| | | | I'm sure someone stripped and refinished. A lot of folks really hated the BBR color scheme. |

Don't know if was BBR but that wood is kind of neat. We both have the Force 40 BBR and I just saw a B-5 BBR (the lil 1-pup brother) sell on eBay. Wish I'd been able to get it. Yours IS the 2 pup Force 40 BBR, yes?

| | | | Yep, 2 bartolini style soapbars. I've seen both b-20 and force 40 with lots of different pup configurations, and placement. |

| | | | Hey MeKer-
It has taken some soul searching but I have decided to trade the green status bass. More interested in a trade than a sale. Got anything that would make a good swap!? |

Since I have interject into the topic, I might as well ask if my bass is a desirable model. Thanks

| | | | Sorry psp the only one of those that I have experience with is the B-20 so I'm not qualified to make the comparison. |

The B-30 also came in a fretless that is really sweet as well.
You cannot compare the post-Matsumoko Washburns with the Matsumokos or Yamaki. We Matsumoko fans will ALWAYS take a Matsumoko or Yamaki over any later year Washburn. Let me say FINESSE defines them as far as we are concerned. But a Kasuga is, I repeat, a darn good bass, it is more a solid workingman's bass while the Matsumoko had more of the ART of bass making injected in IT's manufacture. Now this is just me so YMMV. But I say again----hang onto your B-30--it IS a good bass.

I agree that B-30 is a 'good bass', my friend from Praise borrowed my B-30 for our Worship and accidentally dropped it from chest height.. (with a loud thud)... First word on my mind was 'f' word. After careful inspection, she only had 2 damaged knobs. I'm impressed by the durability but afterwards I don't bring her anymore unless I am playing.
