Old Ibanez P bass identifying

Is there any chance that this bass is in original condition? I found it on used guitars market and it looks good but some details about body design are doubtful for me.

These are the only photos.

Looks cool! Like a high class Mark Hoppus bass.

I'm guessing this bass was used in a studio for a good while?

Bass is presented as from 1972. by the user who sells it but neither one catalog from 70s contains even similar one.

I owned 71 jazz ibanez , have to say it plays 5 times better than newer fender jazz basses...Yes guitar looks good and probably sounds even better! Cheers

I'm not aware of any Ibanez model like that, let alone from '72.

Agreed. What it is seems interesting and different and may play like a dream, but I doubt that it's what the seller is claiming.

I'm pretty sure I never saw a 70s MIJ bass without tone knob or switch.

That neck might be Ibanez, but the body sure isn't.

This. And I don't recall any fender like ibanez neck with that finish. I think its a parts bass with an ibanez spaghetti logo.
