Old schecter basses

Does anyone here have a old schecter bass.
Like from the 80's?
I have one, and I was wonder how many are out there.

Mine is very cool,
P/J pickups,
Tele neck
Gold top complete with checking.
I wish it was sunbust but, the gold will have to to do.

Yes, I do have an 80's Schecter

I realize this thread is quite old but I have to respond to a fellow N.S.'er.
Schecter PJ bought at MusicStop in Halifax in 85.
I have pics in the Schecter thread

I miss the old parts Schecters from the late 70's. They were just so beautiful. Mostly fender style replacement stuff.

That first one is my favorite.

They all look extremely HEAVY. The second one is beautiful. Is that cherry?

Sold my early 80's lawsuit headstock Schecter jazz a few months ago. Excellent bass, was my #1 for years,
but it was time to change things up an it wasn't seeing much use anymore. Excellent build quality on par with the best Fenders ever built.

Old Schecters are fabulous instruments. Never met one that wasn't 100% killer.

When I first discovered Schecter, they were a true custom shop that only produced top shelf hand-made USA guitars & basses, and even their "entry-level" models were high quality USA handmades- they did not sell import models at all.
I was lucky enough to buy one of only 3 "Astro-Surf" guitars ever built. These were custom made for J. Yunger of White Zombie.
I had a bass built to match it that was dubbed the "Astro-Bass", and it was deadly. It had a birdseye maple neck, an alder body, holoflake finish, ebony fretboard, 2-Tek bridge and EMG pickups. I foolishly sold the pair years ago, and I still miss them...
Sorry for the crappy scanned pic, but it is the only one I have of them.
