| | | | An old Vantage bass followed me home.... ...from my out of town gigs this weekend. I've gotta stop going to pawn shops.

If you do purchase something, your're half-scared to take it to a bar. Why? Just imagine this scenario: You are onstage, minding your business, laying down some nasty grooves on your newly acquired pawnshop bass. And someone walks up to you mid song,"Hey!! Your're the Oxycontin addict who stole my bass!!" Hell,I'm afraid to buy anything from a pawnshop anymore. There's a whole bunch of thievery goin' on in my town. And don't even think about sleepin' with your mouth open if you by chance have gold teeth. The thieves will sneak in and chisel 'em out of your head. Sad,sad, and sad.....

| | | I did a slight bit of tweaking ...really nice sounding bass. Not sure I'll keep it, but the tone is nice and beefy with a good bit of classic P Bass growl.

I ended up donating it to a church that was starting a praise band. The bass is as solid as a brick house.
Enjoy.
