Overwater Classic J vs Fender Jazz vs Danelectro DC - Your thoughts?

First post so sorry if I'm waffling a bit.
Has anyone any good (or bad) things to say about the Overwater Classic J series Bass. I'm toying with the idea of one or instead getting a used japanese fender Jazz for more money, or saving a few ££ and getting a Danelectro DC bass instead.

What are peoples opinions of these 3 basses?

I seem to be mostly using a Dano Longhorn these days despite having almost a dozen basses . This Dano is by far the cheapest instrument I own but it sounds great and weighs next to nothing and is a lot of fun to play .

I know there are some that don't get Danos , but try one out .

The Danelectro is going to have the most unique tone. Hollow and gritty. Which I personally love. Play them if you can. I say you couldnt go wrong with either the Fender or the Dano. But one will be wayyy cheaper.

I'm with MSB: also using my Dano Longhorn A Lot and also own a dozen basses. Very versatile and fun and that short-scale neck is punchy.
