P Bass With Tilt Adjustment on neck

I recently traded my Warwick for a 1982/85 E3 plus 5 Precision. It has the screw under the neck plate that adjusts the neck as a shim would. My question is was that on all pbasses in those years or only a few? If they are on a few does that make them worth more? The bass is in great condition. The guy I got it from bought it new and he didn't know it was there.

The E series are very good. They are worth about $550-$800 on the used market depending on condition.
