P5 Club?

Okay - so there's a Precision Club & a 5 string Club, but not a 5 string P-Bass Club specifically (that I know of).

There have been quite a few threads where my fellow P5 owners have enthusiastically posted how much they love theirs, sooooo....

Let this meeting officially come to order! Any P5 will do (Fender, Lull, Alleva-Coppolo, Sadowsky, Nordy, Dingwall, Xotic, Alien Audio, etc, etc, etc), as long as its a P & a 5'er! Let's hear from ya!

I'll get things rolling... Here's my 2010 Fender:Click image for larger version

Cool, we're off to a good start!

Does everyone think we should scrap the whole "member #" thing? I know that I don't want to keep track of it ... Unless someone else wants to volunteer!

Well put, sir. No numbers it is!

Let's just leave the memberships to "in good standing" status. Agreed?

Can I join too?

Ok, so it isn't a Fender. And it doesn't have a P-pickup. It's almost shaped like a P-bass, though.

Count me in. I'll post a picture when I get home tonight, but it's the same as buskman's in his first post - sunburst/tort/rosewood.

And here she is:

Well since I have some fellow Fender P5 players here, let me be the first to ask a few questions:

1) Is anyone else using chromes? And if so, how is the action on the B-String? I can't seem to get mine low enough, even after shimming the neck with a business card.

2) Will a jazz bass pickup cover fit over the Pbass pickup?
